The Cold Ones

Cami slid out her car, as she pulled the keys out the ignition. She grabbed all her important papers out the glove box, and headed towards the main office. The sign " Flamenton College" Was on the door. She pushed the door open, and handed the woman at the desk the papers. The woman was about 30, and had auburn hair, in a bob. Her green eyes hidden where behind purple framed glasses. She gazed at Cami for awhile, shocked by her beauty. She shuddered a little, as if she was thinking she could of never looked like that. Her eyes then turned to the monitor of the computer infront of her. She typed a few things, and smiled up at Cami. "Heres your schedule. You start tomorrow!" She said cheerfully. "Thank you so much! I guess Ill see you tomorrow! Good bye!" Cami said excitedly, walking out the door. "Bye Sweetie." The lady at thedesk yelled just before she was out of the office.

Destiny walked down the hall of Flamenton College, passing a few girls giggling. She stepped aside out of their way, and walked into her room when they were gone. She didn't have a roommate yet, and she was hoping she wouldn't get one. She had never gotten close to anyone after her parents abandoning her as a child.
She put her headphones in her ears, and played some loud music, trying to pass out. She had stayed up late last night, feasting..

Today was the big day. Cami was now going to meet her new roomates. The nerves were overwhelming for her. All she could think about was a scene in her head of her pounching on her roomate and ripping at her throat, suckking the life out of an innocent girl trying to get an education. This was why most vampires were just homeschooled. She pulled into the driveway, and began to shake slightly.Pulling her bags and boxes out of the car was very hard for her, because she could barely focus. She smooth down her golden hair, and began to climbup the familar stairs to the office, with her luggage pulling behind her. The same lady with the bob smiled suddenly as Cami walked in." I remember you! You can call me Ms.Robin, Im the secratary, youre Cami right?" Cami nodded, slightly grinning. She began to smell the scent of the women, but was undercontrol, she had made sure she stocked up on blood, before she came." Okay, youre room 143, down the hall there. Ill have someone get your stuff for you." Ms.Robin said cheerfully, pushing Cami by the small of her back towards the hall on their left. "Oh! Youre very cold! Hmm, it must be chilly out there!" she said, gasping. "Uhh, yeah." Cami said, her voice sounded just as beautiful as her appearance. Cami walked towards the door slowly. "This is it." she whispered. She opened the door and there in the room sitting on one of the beds, listening to her ipod was a girl, Cami reconized her scent almost instantly; Vampire. Cami smiled at her. What are the odds.

Instantly, Destiny woke up. She shot up in bed, and gasped. Another vampire.
She stood up, and greeted herself. "Hi, I'm Destiny. I guess you're my roommate."
She let out a small fake laugh. She was glad that she was atleast paired with a vampire, and not a human.

"Hi, Im Cami. " Cami replied, smiling, and putting her hand out for Destiny to shake it. She observed Destiny, she looked lonely, and sorrowful. Cami decided she was going to help Destiny, and try to let her let loose and have fun.

Chelsea walked along the street. She was looking for a house for rent. As she did she passed the local college, and thought about inrolling. She looked up and noticed it was about to rain. Great. She walked briskly into the office of the college to escape the rain. The lady at the front desk welcomed her and asked if she was interested in inrolling. "Uhm.. I'll take a brochure." she said. She smelled many appealing smells in the office, and even more out on campus. She licked her lips, wishing to devour the lady at the desk right then and there, but resisted. "Can you tell me a little about the classes offered here?" She asked. "Oh we have an amazing veternary school and medical school... The lady went on and on and on bragging on the school. Chelsea was fine with listening, she didn't want to go back out in the rain. After it quit raining, the lady who runs the desk happened to notice it was 5. "Oh, look at the time!" she said, and started gathering some pappers. Chelsea started towards the door, when she caught a familier scent. Vampires. Two of them, somewhere on campus. Chelsea had only met one other vampire before, the one that attacked her. She turned back to the lady at the desk. "May I have a Application?" She asked. "Sure!" the desk lady said, handing her a packet of pappers that read "Flemington Colledge Application." Chelsea took it, and headed outside. She was thirsty, but wasn't sure of what to eat. She didn't want to kill people, but did she have another choice? She walked down a dark alley, and saw a scruffy homeless man with a beard by a circle k. She jumped at him, quickly killing him. She drank his blood, then she left, her thirst quinced.

"Okay, well, this is strange. Were both.. You know" Cami dropped her bags by one of the empty beds, and sat down. "So, what are you majoring in, Destiny?" Cami said, smiling big, her teeth glimmering.

[Heather]

"Yeah." She said, smiling. "I'm majoring in Veternary stuff. Working with animals. What about you?" She asked, putting her iPod in her drawer.
"Do you need help putting your stuff away?" she asked, politely.

"Sure, Thanks! Its not like I have anything to hide- I mean, you already know my biggest secret! " Cami laughed akwardly. "Um, I'm actually majoring with animals too! Except Im more of a behavior specialist, or animal therapist." She added, answering to Destiny's question.

Chelsea walked up to the colledge the next day with her application. She gave the lady her application, and the lady typed some things into her computer. "Okay all done! Do you have your stuff?" She asked. "Uhm, no, but I live right down the street, I'll go get it." She said. She walked out the door and ran to where she had left her stuff, then came back. "Okay, I'm back. I've been excepted?" She asked. "Yes, your room # is room 201." the lady said. "I'm sorry, but you dont have a roommate. We stopped accepting applications today. You don't mind do you?" "No, not at all." Chelsea knew it would be better if she didn't have a roomate anyhow. She walked to her room and started unpacking her stuff.

The next day was the first day of schooling. Everyone was to report to the lobby, and were handed a sheet with your schedule. Cami and Destiny walked together to the lobby. Suddenly, Cami could smell another vampire, off in the distance. "We arent the only ones." She said, nudging Destiny in the arm. Sure enough, when they reached the lobby, by the animal science section, stood a vampire, waiting impaitently for instruction.

[Heather]

"I knew I smelled another one! I wonder how many are here. I never thought there would be this many..atleast not on the first two days I am here!" She said, half smiling.
They walked past the other vampire, hoping that maybe she would notice them. They stopped right by her, and glanced at her.

Chelsea picked up her schedual. She then caught the scent of another vampire. Two actually, the ones she had smelled before. They passed by her, and she wanted to say somthing, but instead walked away. She hurried to her first class, wich was veternary studies. When she walked in, she instantly noticed both the other vampires where also in this class with her. "Great, Maybe I can get a chance to talk to them." she thought. The rest of the large overcrowded class hurried in.

Shade smashed his hand into his alarm clock as he the alarm sound off next to his head. He trudged out of bed to the bathroom. Knocking on the door and remembering he lives alone, but the bathroom doors lock, he yelled and went to get a butter knife. After all his morning extremedies he lock him self out and got in his car. He made sure he had all his paperwork and notes and usual crap he would never use for school. Backed out and drove to the college. He rolled up and grabbed his stuff, moving out of his car, locking it and heading to the office. On his way, he stopped to flirt with a few girls that caught his eye, only to leave them hanging. He continued to the office. Most likely late already. Sitting down in the office, he was called up to the desk. "May I help you?" the lady scoffed.
"Ye, um, Im enrolling, can i get my schedule and shit?"
"Excuse your self and maybe learn to talk more appropriately while in Flamenton College."
"Ye, whatever."
He grabbed his new papers and headed to the first room he should be in. He still wondered if hed ever find someone like him. Maybe? Maybe not...

Cami, being so outgoing walked right up to the vampire. "Im talking to her, This is rediculous." She whispered to Destiny. "Hey! The name's Cami!" She said in a friendly tone.

Chelsea turned to the blonde she-vampire. "Hi Cami, my names Chelsea." she said. "Strange to see so many of us in one place." she said, hinting on the word "us". She then noticed the smell of another vampire in the room, a male vampire. "Gosh, another one?" she tought.
